Ways To Change Your Lifestyle: A Step by Step Beginners Guide.
What is a habit?
A habit is a repetitive action you perform on a daily basis. Every time you brush your teeth, when you wake up, or when you get dressed every morning, you are using a habit. These daily habits make up your daily life. Your habits determine how you behave every day.
Habits can be good or bad, some are good for your health, others are bad for your health. You are the only one who controls your habits. You can have one bad habit and a good habit, but you can’t have both. Your habits are the key to how happy you are. A famous Japanese Zen Buddhist teacher, Shunryu Suzuki Roshi, says this: “It is better to have one good thing in your life than a hundred bad things” You have the power to create good habits or change bad habits. Change the habits you want to change.
Clues to identify habits
One of the most important characteristics of habits is that they must be repeated. For the best results, please pay attention to any habits you need to develop in order to understand your daily work. If you want to change something, you need to know why you are doing it.
The length of the routine can also be regarded as another good indicator of habit. For example, you may stick to your daily routine to maintain your regularity or health, and it may last longer than a habit that makes you feel a little bit happy. If you like this habit in the short term, chances are less. Consistency also plays an important role. You will probably develop this habit for a long time.
How to identify a habit
First, you need to identify which habit is the problem. The best way to do that is to keep a running log of your life. You could use a journal or use an app to keep a record of your activities each day.
Just keep a log of everything you do, even if it seems like a waste of time, like buying lunch when you have a meal plan, for example. Once you have a full log, you can look at the habits that you don’t want to be part of your life, you can look for patterns, and you can look for patterns in your behavior that you don’t want to have. Habits will vary from person to person, but most people will want to be doing fewer activities that are not for their highest good. But habits come in all shapes and sizes.

You can’t go straight from where you are to where you want to be without changing your lifestyle. I suggest a progressive approach to changing your habits, one that is time and commitment efficient, but also a lot of fun. It’s a process, and you have to go at it at your own pace.
I started by taking baby steps, like changing my morning routine, cleaning, using the stairs instead of the elevator, etc. And, as I started making progress, I added more steps and more goals. Then, I added more tiny steps and much more progress. For example, let’s say you want to start reading a book every month. So, in my case, I decided to read a chapter of the book before I went to sleep at night. Then, I added an evening chapter before bed.
